The language of mark-making has a certain poignancy that renders words inadequate. An image can cross cultural and language barriers... a universal idiom, the true mother tongue. Art has the capacity to unite all of humankind in a way that trancends the tactile grit of everyday experience. It is to this language I have dedicated my life. I am constantly striving to make my work stronger, my messages clearer. I feel that presently, I have just scratched the surface.
