Joel Lubell
a native of new jersey, joel came to raleigh to attend the nc state college
of design in '99. a woodworker since age 14, joel enjoyed the opportunity
at school to explore working with new materials, new techniques and
developing his unique functional style. he now incorporates metal, glass,
and whatever he can find into his work. Joel has been collaborating with
friend, and antfarm alum, dave nicolay, on the green redesign of a 1955 airstream trailer. Antfarm has proven to be a
creative outlet for joel's past and future design projects. currently, joel
splits his time between a full time job at the habitat for humanity reuse
center in raleigh, a new family, and antfarm.
